The California waitress who confronted a Silicon Valley tech CEO through his racist tirade against an Asian family said Wednesday that she “did what desired to be performed.”
Gennica Cochran, a server at Lucia restaurant in Carmel Valley, recalled in an interview with KGO-Television what led her to protect Jordan Chan and her spouse and children on Saturday from Michael Lofthouse, the CEO of Stable8.
“I felt incredibly protective of them,” Cochran explained to the news station. “You really don’t appear in listed here and say all those kinds of factors to individuals. Especially individuals sense so uncooked coming out of quarantine.
