NewsNechako Rotary Club Hoping to Sell More Tickets for Car Raffle
The Nechako Rotary Club is working towards a sell out for its summer car raffle. The club has sold around 3,000 ten dollar tickets for a 1971 Ford Torino. Past President Kelly Zammit says tickets have been selling slower than expected. "But then Prince George is a last minute town," says Zammit, "so were hoping everyone will get out and support such a good cause, within the last few weeks of ticket sales." Zammit says all money raised in this year's car raffle will go to the Salvation Army's Mobile Crisis Repsonse Trailer. Tickets can be bought at Pine Centre Mall for the month of August. The draw date for the car is September 12th. Most Viewed Stories
