Skiers and snowboarders in the area have less than two weeks to get one final run in.  The amount of snow on the hills has caused a few hills to stay open.  Powder King Mountain Resort Owner Jim Salisbury says they're keeping their hill open for an extra week.

"Typically we go through to the third weekend in April but this year were going an extra week," says Salisbury, "because we've had such a great snow year, and this will make us one week short of six months open at Powder King."

Salisbury says the amount of snow Powder King received this year is exceptional.  To finish off the season Powder King will be holding their annual Dummy Contest this weekend and the annual King's Cup next weekend.
