The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George has ended evacuation alerts for Foreman Flats and Shelley.

Fraser River levels have peaked and with stable weather in the forecast, officials do not expect another significant rise.

22 homes in Foreman Flats and ten in the Shelley Townsite were put on evacuation alert on June 18.

An additional 16 homes in Shelley were added to the alert on June 19th.

Residents are advised to continue to be cautious near rivers and streams as banks could be unstable or eroded.
