RCMP are saying a one person is dead after a plane crash near Williams Lake. RCMP were told the plane left Williams Lake at around 1:30 in yesterday afternoon and an aerial search was made at around 10:00 p.m. after the plane didn't return. 

The plane was discovered nine kilometres North West of Williams Lake near the Fraser River.   RCMP say the investigation is ongoing and are not releasing the name of the pilot at this time.
