A DoorDash driver took a harrowing journey by way of a New Jersey drainage process immediately after getting caught in a flash flood — and survived.
Nathalia Bruno, 24, was making a delivery for the duration of a weighty rainstorm when her car or truck acquired caught in deep waters Monday in Passaic, said neighborhood Fire Main Patrick Trentacost.
The Newark woman was ready to escape the vehicle as it started to fill with h2o, Trentacost reported, in accordance to NorthJersey.com.

Rushing waters pushed Bruno for about a mile in advance of she was “shot out” into the Passaic River, claimed Rutherford Law enforcement Main John Russo.
Bruno was ready to swim to the lender of the river and climbed out and into a close by backyard. The home owner then referred to as an ambulance which took the lady to St. Mary’s Common Medical center in Passaic.
She seemed “stunned” but or else didn’t surface injured, Russo claimed.
“She was out of it. In shock. She seriously didn’t know what took place to her,” he additional.
It was not clear whether or not Bruno had been produced from the hospital by Tuesday. Her vehicle has still to be recovered.
