Google Nest teases ‘something special’ up coming week

Google Nest teases 'something special' next week

On Thursday, Google officially confirmed its rumored Nest speaker just after the product was inadvertently unveiled by a regulatory company. Google Nest right now is back again with an additional tease for “something unique,” assumed it’s not apparent if the two points are relevant.

At 9 a.m. PT, Google Nest on Twitter and Facebook posted the subsequent tweet with an accompanying online video:

Get a deep breath and get ready. A thing special is coming this Monday.

The 4-next very long clip options comic Fred Armisen in a very long, white wig that could be straight out of sketch comedy sequence Portlandia. I simply cannot fairly make out what he’s mouthing, but we then leap to a facet shot of the funny person that reveals he is sitting down cross-legged on a stole in a meditation-esque pose that matches the “deep breath” aspect of this teaser.

People today are immediately jumping to the conclusion that the “something special” in issue is the Nest speaker given how not long ago that happened. A one particular-off components announcement is feasible, but it would chip away at what could be introduced — presumably — in the slide. That stated, in the US and Japan, the speakers have received the required regulatory approvals to go on sale, though Google could always announce and ship later on.

If Monday doesn’t see a components announcement, then program is the other possibility. Offered the nature of the tease, Google Assistant and Nest gadgets could be finding some variety of relaxation/meditation aspect, whilst 1 long shot is an Armisen celebrity Assistant voice. John Legend departed past year leaving Issa Rae.
