The Yinka Dene Alliance has returned to Northern BC after delivering an anti-Northern Gateway Pipeline message in Toronto.
40 alliance members left for Toronto at the end of April to speak at Enbridge's AGM, making several stops along the way.
Spokeswoman Geraldine Thomas-Flurer says their main message was they will not permit the pipeline to be built through their lands.
She says another goal was to raise awareness about the pipeline and the environmental impact an oil leak could cause.
"From what we seen across Canada and the support that we got, I really think that Canadians and BC are fully supportive of what we're trying to do because it's not a First Nation's issue, it's a human issue."
The trip was called the "Freedom Train" and picked up ten additional participants along the way.
