The B-C Achievement Foundation is accepting submissions for this year's B-C Aboriginal Business Awards.  The awards recognize Aboriginal businesses for success and best practices.  Achievement Foundation Executive Director Nora Newlands says there are seven different categories people can be nominated in.

"Including young male and female entrepreneur of the year, that is for young people under 30 years," says Newlands, "we also offer awards for businesses in one to two person categories."

Newlands says there are also categories for joint venture, and community owned business of the year.  Nomination deadline is September 14th and an applications can be found at http://www.bcachievement.com/aboriginalbusiness/info.php
