Pacific Sport is now taking applications for its children summer sport camps.

Two different programs will be running throughout the summer at the Northern Sports Centre.

Program Coordinator Sarah Carter says the Active Star program is for children ages 4-7.

"We just give them a basic overview of sports skills that they might need for whatever sport they choose to do. We have different sessions that run for a week in the morning from 8:30 until 11:30, and they just have fun and play games."

Carter says the Xplore Sportz is 8-13 year olds and will see them trying a variety of sports.
