--Betty Ann Shiels dominated the Ladies
Simon Fraser Open, winning by a whopping
16 strokes at Prince George Golf and Curling
Club.
Shiels captured this tournament for a 7th time
with a 36-hole score of 156 following rounds of
81 and 77. She also took top spot in 1991,
1998, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2011.
Lana Ryan (84,88) and Cheryle Poulin (83,89)
tied for 2nd place at 172.
Kim (Cowburn) Evans of Kitimat has the record
with eight titles from 1994 to 2004.
