PG players go in round 3

Prince George, B.C.

--Jujhar Khaira of the Prince George Spruce Kings and Troy
Bourke of the P.G. Cougars were selected in the third round
of the NHL Entry Draft.
  Khaira became the highest drafted Spruce King player ever
when he was picked by the Edmonton Oilers 63rd overall and
Bourke was chosen 72nd overall by the Colorado Avalanche.
  Both were selected higher than their Central Scouting
draft ranking as Khaira was listed as 74th among North
American skaters and Bourke was rated 123rd.
  BCHL scoring leader Paul De Jersey of the P.G. Spruce
Kings was not selected in the draft even though he was
ranked 98th among North American skaters.
