--Local cowgirls Sandy Suter of Prince George
and Trish Kohorst of Vanderhoof have qualified
for the World Series of Team Roping Finale in
Las Vegas.
  Suter and Kohorst clinched a spot following a
strong performance at a roping event in Fort St
John where 140 teams participated.
  The local cowgirls, as well as Josh and Delmar
Siemens of Vanderhoof, will compete against
Team Ropers from across Canada, the US and
Mexico at the World Series Finale which will be
held in conjunction with the National Finals
Rodeo in December.
