Prince George, B.C.
The Consul General of China in Vancouver is in Prince George today for a series of meetings.
Liu Fei met with City Council this morning to discuss economic opportunities in Prince George.
Councillor Albert Koehler says Fei also discussed what China can offer, with an emphasis on exchange students.
"She was talking very informative[ly] about China and how things are changing over there and that China is very much interested also to have more exchange students coming to BC and to Canada."
Fei is meeting with staff at Initiatives Prince George before returning to Vancouver.
Fei has been on the job for seven months and it's her first visit to the city.
