A Prince George man faces charges of pointing a firearm and forcible confinement after an incident in the Gauthier Road area.

Last week RCMP responded to a complaint of forcible confinement with a weapon that had occured on August 16th.

Police say two men were out on quads in the area when they were stopped by another man who pointed a rifle at them.

They say the man accused the other two of trespassing, took out the keys from their quads, and held them for a period of time.

The keys were then returned and the two men fled the area.

42 year old Sandor Francais Gabris faces two charges of pointing a firearm, forcible confinement, and one charge of unlawful possession of a firearm.

He's to appear in court on September 12th.

RCMP say they've since had a similar complaint in the area, and ask that anyone who has information on a similar encounter in the Gauthier Road area to call them or Crimestoppers.
