The University Farmers' Market is expanding its geographic boundaries to mark its second season.
This means vendors located in communities with a UNBC regional campus can participate in the market.
Spokesman Scott Green says a program is also in the works to enable student to sell goods for vendors.
"The flip side of that is this is a huge opportunity for students to get, you know, real world experience running a business and doing inventory and sales and marketing and accounting and everything else."
Green hopes the new initiatives will raise awareness about the farmers' market outside of university campuses.
The market is currently accepting vendor applications for the upcoming season, which starts September 11th.
