A new look has been unveiled at Fort St. James National Historic Site's visitor centre.  The museum's displays have been refreshed and redone to better tell the history of the fur trade in the region.  Site Product Development Officer Kevin Gedling says the new refurbishing gives a broader perspective on the fur trade.

"That includes Nak'azdli First Nations as well as Metis perspecitive that had not previously been included in displays as they were previously," says Gedling.

Gedling says members of Nak'azdli and Metis from Fort St. James and Prince George were consulted on the new look for the vistitor centre.  He says Fort St. James National Historic Site is open until September 30th, but people can see the visitors centre in the off season.
