Replacing Kelly Road Secondary School is a top priority for the School District 57s Board of Trustees.  At last night's board meeting trustees approved a five year capital plan with a new Kelly Road Secondary topping their wish list.  Trustee Trish Bella says their request will now go to the government for approval.

'It would be at least three years down the road, before you would even hear of any type of process that says okay fine your moving forward with a plan," says Bella, "this would be very much so what we would love to have."

Bella says the district is looking for $38.7 million dollars from the province for a new school for Kelly Road.  The board has also included a new school for Nusdeh Yoh Elementary in their five year capital plan asking for $7.3 million.
