NewsPrince George Picks Up Speed in Week 3 of Drive for Life
Prince George made steady progress during week three of Canadian Blood Services Interior Drive for Life. As of this week Prince George has collected 345 blood donations to date and was just off its goal of getting 354. This puts Prince George at 97 percent within its target of donations collected. Communications Specialist Marcelo Dominguez says Kelowna has also made steady progress during the Drive for Life. "The target was 640 at this time so their total percentage to target was around 79%," says Dominguez, "so there's a bit of a spread developing between Prince George and Kelowna, so I think Prince George would be happy to hear that." Dominguez says there are three weeks left in the Interior Drive for Life. Those wanting to donate can contact the Blood Donor Clinic on Westwood Drive. Most Viewed Stories
