Chili Cookoff Fundraiser Today

Downtown Prince George could have a smell of hot chili today.
The first annual Smokin' Chili Cookoff is taking place on the 1200 block of 5th Avenue between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. It is being hosted by Team Powerhouse Realty, with 10 other teams competing.
Realtor Barbara Robin says they are fundraising for Habitat for Humanity and the rebuilding of Ness Lake Bible Camp's gym.
"Sample each merchant's chili. It will only cost you $5. Then you have the opportunity to vote for the best decorated booth as well as the best tasting chili."
Some of the businesses participating include Concept Design, Doucette Realty, Black Diamond Lanes, Northern Development Initiative Trust, and Northern BC Tourism.
