There's more good news for Prince George based Barker Minerals with a better than expected yield at its Frank Creek gold site near Williams Lake.

President and CEO Louis Doyle says a routine double check sample from the site was analyzed showing a much different result than original tests.

"When previously analyzed, were about half the value as previously reported so it made the Frank Creek property values a little bit higher than what they previously were," said Doyle.

He says this is a perfect case of why double and triple checking samples is necessary as it can be all too easy to mis-analyze this particular type of deposit.

Doyle says the site continues to garner interest from international mining firms.
