The public will be the ones to choose the feature photos for the 2013 Northern BC Travel Guide.

Clint Fraser with the Northern BC Tourism Association says they want locals to have the final say in which photos make it to the travel guide.

"Throughout the month of October we're running a promotion on our facebook page which allows fans of the regions to determine which photos are selected for our upcoming 2013 Northern BC Travel Guide. They can find the options on our facebook page, simply titled 'Northern British Columbia'."

Fraser says there will be five different sections that fans can vote on, and voting will end on October 26th.

Every year the travel guide is distributed throughout western Canada and the United States.
