Prince George, B.C.
Family members of Highway of Tears victims have met with each other and investigators in Prince George today.
Among the 20 participants is Brenda Wilson, whose sister Ramona was found murdered near the Smithers airport in 1995.
She says meeting with E-PANA investigators who are working hard to solve her sister's case and others brings her hope.
"Not so much for closure, but an understanding that there is hope and that we will start to find answers. I think the closure part is going to take longer than actually the waiting."
The father of Prince George resident Nicole Hoar, who went missing ten years ago, has also attended the meeting.
Jack has made a plea for anyone with information about the Highway of Tears cases to call police, Crime Stoppers or a dedicated tip line at 1-877-543-4822.
The meeting is the 9th planned by families with the help of police, First Nations leadership and social service providers.
