NewsPrince George Wins Interior Drive for Life
Prince George has reclaimed the winner's title in this year's Interior Drive for Life. PG beat Kelowna by collected 901 donations during the six week drive, exceeding its target of 885 donations. Canadian Blood Services Spokesperson Marcelo Dominguez says Kelowna came in second after getting 83% of its target. "But what we are really pleased about is combined we have got more than two thousand blood donations made overall during the six week period and we are absolutely thrilled," says Dominguez. Dominguez says Prince George was also able to get 78 new donors during the Interior Drive for Life. To mark Prince George's win the mayor of Kelowna will wear a Prince George Cougar's jersey to an upcoming council meeting. Most Viewed Stories
