RCMP have located a wanted man after Prince George police called for the public's assistance Wednesday morning.

James Allan Pike has been arrested in Vancouver.

A Canada wide warrant was issued for Pike's arrest after he did not report to a community residential facility in Vancouver on Saturday.

RCMP were not sure if Pike had left Prince George after being released on parole and directed to head to Vancouver.

Pike is a first time federal offender and has a variety of convictions, including violence and weapons related offences.
