Despite being very light, the first snowfall of the season has kept Prince George RCMP very busy.
Corporal Craig Douglass says police have responded to almost 20 crashes over a 24 hour period.
He says the collisions and rollovers varied in terms of severity, with some not even requiring a response.
"I do know that some [people] were injured and transported to hospital. I don't know conditions or how severe they are. I'm certain that none of them are life-threatening and then of course right down to no injuries at all."
Douglass says multiple crashes are typical of the first snowfall of the year due to people being unprepared.
With snow in the forecast this weekend, Douglass suggests winterizing vehicles and adjusting driving habits.
