Prince George council meets tonight with a variety of topics on the agenda, including the latest update on the ongoing Core Services Review.

It marks the final presentation by KPMG to a public council meeting before the final report is handed to the Select Committee for the Core Review on Friday.

A union representative for city employees will once again address council to discuss the Core Review and a similar undertaking in Toronto.

A staff report on a mobile pothole patching machine will be presented with a recommendation not to purchase one after a trial period during the summer.

A number of community grants will also be announced with eight thousand dollars in funding being split between six different groups.

The meeting begins at 6:00pm in council chambers.
