The Prince George Railway and Forestry Museum is holding a fundraiser for Lakeland Mills on June 23rd.
Executive Director Ranjit Gill says Lakeland employees are still dealing with the aftermath of an explosion at the sawmill on April 23rd.
"This is a long-term thing. It's not something that goes away tomorrow. These families have been affected and it's going to affect them for a long time."
A concert has been planned for the fundraiser, which will include ten bands from Prince George and Hixon.
All money raised will go to the Lakeland Fire Assistance Fund administered by the Community Foundation.
Tickets are $25, including the cost of dinner, and can be bought at the museum or Northern Hardware.
