WestJet will not be providing a direct flight from Prince George to Las Vegas this fall.  Last year the airliner tested the market to see if there was any interest in people going to Las Vegas.  Prince George Airport Authority Spokesperson Lindsay Cotter says that luxury is not available this year.

"They don't have extra aircrafts so unfortunately they won't be flying direct to Las Vegas this fall," says Cotter.

Cotter says the airport authority will continue to approach WestJet to offer flights to Las Vegas and other markets.  She says there was a demand for flights when the service was offered last year.
