The National Energy Board returns to Prince George today for two days worth of hearings for the Northern Gateway pipeline.

The entire week had originally been set aside but based on the number of registered speakers, only four sessions in total over two days are required.

Joint Review Panel spokeswoman Annie Roy says all presenters were registered ahead of last October's deadline.

"They have ten minutes to speak to the panel about their views, opinions, and facts regarding the Northern Gateway project," said Roy.

While only those registered can speak, anyone is welcome to attend the sessions which are held at the Civic Centre.

The first session begins at 1:00 pm this afternoon with a dinner break before resuming at 7:00 pm.

Tomorrow will feature two sessions, one starting at 9:00 am and the other at 1:00 pm.
