Police have identified 21-year old Benjamin Patrick Brown of Edmonton as the man killed in yesterday's head-on collision on highway 16 just east of Prince George.

Brown was behind the wheel of a Ford Mustang which drifted across the centre line, slamming into an eastbound Chevy pick-up about 30 kilometres east of town.

Brown was pronounced dead on scene and his lone passenger was treated for minor injuries and released.

The two occupants of the pick-up are both from Quesnel and were taken to Prince George hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

RCMP say all three of the injured are in good condition with two of them having been released.

Investigators are hoping to speak to any witnesses who saw the crash just before 8:00 am yesterday morning.
