NewsHabitat for Humanity Seeing Lots of Support For Home Build
This year's Prince George Habitat for Humanity home build is moving along well. Insulation was put up last weekend and trim along the windows is expected to be put up soon. Executive Director Jo-Ann Pickering says many volunteers have been showing up to build the home on Juniper Street. "The CNC carpentry students and the plumbing students and electrical premise donated all the electricians and everything for that," says Pickering. Pickering says the home build has also seen a $15,000 donation from Western Community Foundation. She says they hope to have the home finished and the family moved in no later than the middle of October. Most Viewed Stories
