--Sam Lazar edged Mike Smith by just 11 seconds
to capture the 29th annual Prince George Triathlon.
Lazar finished the Olympic distance 1.5km swim,
40km bike ride and 10km run in 2:20:22 with Smith
right behind in 2:20:33.
The Sprint course, which is half the distance,
was won by Malcolm Stinson of Edmonton in 1:14:22
which was nearly seven minutes in front of runner-up
Craig Somerville.
