Prince George - Mackenzie MLA Pat Bell will be representing BC at this week's Western Premier Conference in Edmonton.  Bell will take Premier Christy Clark's spot at the meeting between premiers from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and the three territorial provinces.  He says much that will be discussed are key to his portfolio as Jobs, Tourism and Innovation Minister.

"Things like trades training, immigration, international marketing," says Bell, "those sort of things will be key topics of conversation."

Bell says the two day conference give premiers the chance to learn what types of initiatives each province is doing.  He also says this will create collaboration between the provinces to create national strategies.
