July 23rd marked three months since a devastating explosion and fire at the Lakeland Mills Sawmill in Prince George.

Sinclar Group President Greg Stewart says his company has been trying to keep in touch with affected employees.

"We're very encouraged by the fact that everyone is out of hospital and they are at home, able to recover with their friends and family," says Stewart.  "From all indications, everyone is progressing well, but it should be pointed out that this is a long process and it will take years for people to recover from this incident."

Stewart says WorkSafe BC and insurance investigations are still underway, with nothing new to report.

He says it's very difficult to look forward to the future of the mill until the results of both investigations are known.

22 people were injured and two died when an explosion set the sawmill on fire the evening of April 23, 2012.
