The provincial government is running a photo contest to pick a cover for this year's Freshwater Fishing and Hunting Regulations Guidebooks.  Any wild life enthusiasts can enter a photo that relates to fishing or hunting that could go on the cover of the fishing or hunting and trapping hand book.  Wildlife Policy Analyst Stephen Maciver says there's a lot of good photos out there. 

"We know that there's anglers and hunters and trappers that bring their cameras with them,' says Mciver, "there's a good chance that there's photos out there that will be great cover photos, and submit the photos into us for a chance to be on the cover."

Maciver says photos for the contest must be emailed by October 1st.  They can be sent to synopsis-cover-photo@gov.bc.ca.
