City of Prince George parks crews are busy cleaning up the aftermath of the storm that hit the city Wednesday.

High winds have downed numerous trees on Connaught Hill and in Fort George and Rainbow Parks.

Spokesman Flavio Viola says crews began clean up after the storm eased up and should be finished by Friday.

"If the public does see any trees that are downed or leaning or what not, they should phone it into the city so we can take a look at it and see if it's a safety issue."

Viola says, as far as he knows, the storm has not done damage to any other infrastructure in the city.
