It appears a slip of the foot caused a vehicle to crash into Ave Maria this afternoon. Just after 3:30 pm a Honda CRV collided with the front wall of the store on 20th Avenue.  The 46 year old driver and the vehicle's two occupants were uninjured.A shopper in the store was close to the where the car hit the wall but was also uninjured.  

A structural engineer attended the scene and determined the building to be structurally sound.  A mechanical inspection of the car has been ordered and charges will be considered if needed.
