The Prince George Public Library is looking for teenagers to help out with its upcoming summer programs.

The library has two programs where youth can help out.

Teen Librarian Amy Dawley says one program is the Teen Summer Reading Buddy Volunteers.

"These teen volunteers are going to be helping children staff run summer programming for children, and we're looking for teens who really like to work with kids, and who are in grades 8 to 12."

Teen Tech Tutors is the other program the library will be launching this summer.

It will see teens helping adults and seniors needing help with any technical questions.

The deadline for teens to apply is June 1st and applications are available at the library's website.
