NewsPGX Volunteers Needed in Run Up to Fair
Organizers of the Prince George Exhibition are still looking for volunteers to help with last minute preparations. General Manager Terri McConnachie says the biggest need is for people who can run equipment. McConnachie says there's no minimum time committment for volunteering and any help is appreciated. "People with tickets and training to run fork lifts, and different small equipment like that anyone who can do that," says McConnachie, "carpenters we still need a few things built, smaller items and what not." Those who want to help out are encouraged to contact the PGX office or fill out a volunteer form at www.pgx.com. The 100th annual PGX runs from August 9th to the 12th at Exhibition Park.
