Prince George RCMP and the BC Coroners office are investigating into a body that was found on the Fraser River today.  Just before 2:00 p.m. RCMP received word of a body floating down the Fraser near Fort George Park.

Police were able locate the body four kilometers from the park near Landsdowne Road.  The investigation is in its beginning stages and further details may be provided once confirmed.
