The Mackenzie Golf and Country Club has received funding that will help out the club with its recent struggles.

A 20 thousand dollar Community Gaming Grant has been given to the club .

President Ken Miller says they're not sure yet where exactly the money will go.

"There are certain restrictions for what you're allowed to use it for, and a lot of it is to do with wages and stuff for the golf course. We're just still processing everything."

Miller says the club has been struggling lately because they use to have 300 memberships, and they're now down to 106.

But he says this money will help things get better for next year.
