Prince George RCMP are asking that the public be aware of suspicious activity in certain areas of the city.

Police say they've responded to an unusually high amount of break and enters around the areas of Winnipeg Street to Highway 97, the Nechako River to 15th Avenue, and Connaught Hill Park near 17th and Victoria Street.

They say the break and enters are happening during the day, and they've investigated over a dozen of them just this month.
