Only two classrooms in School District 57 have more than 30 students in them.  At last night's Board of Trustees meeting Superintendent Brian Pepper reported a pre-calculus 11 class at Prince George Secondary School and a College Heights Secondary School English 12 class had over 30 students in them.  Board Chair Sharel Warringotn says board members would like the chance to see a more detailed look at the composition of classrooms.

"We do need to understand the pressure points in our district and how to support and provide that additional support and advocate for funding," says Warrington.

Warrington says a motion on getting a more detailed report on class size and composition has been referred to management and finance.  That report from the Superintendent could be made twice a year for the committee to review.
