Prince George residents have set a record for donations to the Variety Children's Radiothon.
Almost 63,000 dollars has been donated to the children's charity over a span of two days.
Spokesman Gene Bridges says he is thankful to Prince George for being such a giving community.
"I would just like to say it's incredible, I'm really pumped about this, and I just hope that we can continue this great tradition here in Prince George for the kids."
All of the money will be used to help children and families pay for specialized equipment, medicine, and therapy.
Last year, the radiothon raised almost $47,000 to help families with special needs children.
