Mall Bear Spray Suspect Sought

Prince George RCMP are looking for a suspect after the Pine Centre Mall was forced to evacuate thanks to a bear spray incident.

Police and fire fighters were called to the mall just after noon yesterday after several patrons complained of eye and throat irritation.

Fire fighters decided to evacuate the mall as a precaution while at least one person was treated by paramedics but there were no serious injuires.

Police found a can of bear spray in a garbage container.The mall was ventilated and re-opened after about an hour. 

A suspect has been identified as a white man between 20 and 30 years old wearing jeans, a dark shirt and a grey hoodie.  He was carrying a white backpack and a motorcycle helmet and may have left on a dark, Yamaha bike.
