The sale has been finalized, but the Prince George Legion will stay in its downtown building for another year.

Past President John Scott says the new owners of the building on 7th Avenue have been very helpful.

"We have rent free for a year, which is really great to get from the new owners to do that.  They're very interested in helping us out and in helping getting us started and so far have been very very helpful."

Scott says they have started to look for a new location, which will ideally be about 9 thousand square feet.

He encourages anyone who knows of a suitable building can contact the local branch.
