Cuba. The celebration of the International Fair of Transport and Logistics in the coming month of September in the Exhibition Center of PABEXPO opens the doors of the island to numerous actors, companies and projects interested in business opportunities in Cuba.
Después de cerca una decada sin realizar este evento, ahora include en su convocación a la logística como un componente essential del desarrollo del transporte.
According to the Cuban vice minister of transport, Ing Naima Alfonso Acosta, “the event has the purpose of encouraging foreign investors and the capture of financing for the development of infrastructures, stimulating exports of goods and services and perfecting the country’s logistic performance”.
A través de jornadas de negociaciones que se desarrollarán del 27 al 29, los expositores y participantes celebrán sus rondas de negocios para evaluar la portfolio que presenta el Ministerio de Transporte.
The main conferences and panels will treat the topics designed for the contest, such as: logistics and transport, security, sustainable mobility and the application of science and technology, among the most significant.
La Feria acquires significant importance in a world context in which the distribution and logistics chains have been seen impacted by the pandemic of the Covid 19 and by the conflict in Ukraine.
In the case of the country, the recrudescence of the Blockade of the EU has shown its most iron measures in which transport and logistics have also been seen shaken and this Fair opens up hope to reach agreements and negotiate projects of benefit to the Island.
