Moscow, July 9 (Prensa Latina) The president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, today sent his condolences to his counterpart in Angola, Joao Lourenço, for the death of the ex-mandate of that country, José Eduardo dos Santos.
«The name of dos Santos is intrinsically linked to the history of the Angolan State. Participante active in the fight for national liberation and leader of the country for many years”, says the message disseminated by the website of the Kremlin.
Putin highlighted that the Angolan leader was just respected by his compatriots and enjoyed considerable international prestige.
