HANOI, Jan. 8 (BRENSA LATINA) Leading leaders of Vietnam welcome Laos Prime Minister Ban Ki-moon.
The head of government continued to meet with his Vietnamese counterpart Pham Min Sinh; President Nguyen Xuan Phuc; Speaker of the National Assembly, Wong Tin Hyu; And Nguyen Phu Trong, general secretary of the Communist Party of India (PCV).
During official talks between the two prime ministers, the parties agreed to increase trade transactions – which exceeded $ 1.3 billion last year – for investments, cooperation in various fields of common interest and liaison between the respective economies.

The two prime ministers will co-chair the 44th session of the Intergovernmental Commission next Monday, during which they will review the progress of multilateral relations and present the next five years.
According to local press reports, Vibhavan was in meetings with President Xuan Fuk; Speaker of Parliament, Wong Tin Hyu; And the atmosphere of friendship and complete understanding prevailed between Fu Trang, General Secretary of the PCV.
Neighboring countries on the Indochina Peninsula, Vietnam and Laos share a 2,540-kilometer border, ancient historical and cultural ties, common struggles for independence and close political and economic ties.
